Distress in our lives

As I sit here and review the last week, I feel down. I recently resigned from my positions in my Church where I have been a member and served for over 25 years. Stress and Burn out are very real things. I am dealing with these things now. I have been praying for a few years for God to guide my path and give a clear vision of what he has for my future. Stepping down and departing the church was his response. Though not and easy task on my part it was emotional. But I believe God has plans for me, Jeremiah 29:11 says for I know the Plans I have for you saith the Lord. They are not plans to harm or destruct you. Don't be held captive by stressful situations and burn out. Give them God and ask for his guidance and direction.

Just like your favorite pair of shows, protect your jewelry by not wearing it everyday. Store your jewelry in a dry and dark place when not wearing it.

Follow these simple no-no's for your jewelry:
The 5 S's:

1. Never Sleep in your jewelry
2. Never Shower in your jewelry
3. Never Spray in your jewelry - perfume, hairspray, etc.
4. Never Swim in your jewelry
5. Never Sweat in your jewelry - if you live in a hot climate state and plan to be outside a better part of the day, skip the necklace but choose big earrings.

Cleaning your jewelry is one way to keep your jewelry looking its best.

To clean silver jewelry, use a polishing cloth. These are available at most jewelry counters. Avoid using the inner white section of your cloth unless your jewelry is tarnashed.

To clean gold jewelry:
Use a ready made jewelry cleaner, available at most jewelry counters. Or, use a plastic cup add water about 1/2 way, 2 drops of MILD dish detergent. Drop your jewelry in and gently agatate for 45 seconds. Remove jewelry, rinse with luke warm water and pat dry.
